Michael Whelahan

(Archdiocese of St. Andrews and Edinburgh) Born 16th January 1889, the son of Michael Whelahan and Elizabeth Robertson; received subdiaconate from Bishop Segura, Auxiliary in Valladolid in college church, 31st December 1916; left for Scotland, 2nd January 1917, and ordained a priest by Bishop Toner in St. Patrick’s, Edinburgh, 21st January 1917; canon of the St. Andrews and Edinburgh chapter; died in Lourdes, 11th September 1949.
